Information handled

Holy Quran Reader stores your reading place, bookmarks, history, display preferences, prayer settings, worship journal, Dhikr counts, and any assistant history or memories you explicitly approve on your device. IQ Studios does not operate an account system or a server that receives this private study data.

Microphone and location

Microphone access is requested only when you start voice control. Location access is requested only when you choose device-based prayer-time calculations or open the Qibla compass. Prayer and Qibla calculations are performed on the device; IQ Studios does not receive your microphone recordings or prayer-location data.

Advertising and consent

The app uses Google Mobile Ads and Google’s User Messaging Platform. Depending on your region, consent choices, and device settings, Google and its advertising partners may process advertising or device identifiers, IP address, coarse location inferred from IP, app interactions, diagnostics, and advertising data for ad delivery, measurement, security, and fraud prevention. The app provides advertising privacy choices where required.

Purchases

Optional one-time in-app purchases support the app or remove advertising. Purchases are processed by the app store. IQ Studios does not receive or store your full payment-card details.

Sharing and retention

Your locally stored information remains until you delete it, clear the app’s data, or uninstall the app, subject to Android backup and restore behaviour. Information leaves the app only when you deliberately use an Android sharing destination or when third-party advertising and store services process the limited data described above.

Your choices

You can deny microphone, notification, or location permissions and continue using the Quran reader. You can review advertising privacy choices in the app, delete local assistant history and memories, clear app storage in Android settings, or uninstall the app.

Children and audience

Holy Quran Reader is intended for users aged 13 and over. IQ Studios does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through a developer-operated account or server.

Quran sources

Quran translations retain their named translator and provider edition identifiers. The optional Tajweed layer uses attributed, licensed source material. Source notices remain available inside the app.
